Here’s my Surrealist project we did in class, I honestly am halfway satisfied with it. I find that my projects have been coming out sloppy, and I think it’s time I start taking more care in making sure they’re high quality projects. The objective was to make a Surrealist window display.
Here is my take on Mondrian’s famous colour blocking. Instead of black and white with primary colours, I did green and white with colours from the red and pink family to make everything pop.
Ranging from pale pinks, to moody reds; none the matter they all had one thing in common. Lead!
My weekly inspiration this week are the many changing colours of the leaves this coming Autumn. Every year I look forward to the vibrant reds, yellows, and plums that fill the tree lined streets of my commute. They’re a signal of my favourite foods, weather, and colours. Enjoy this Autumn!
